I really enjoyed Lori Foster's heroes – especially Dare & Trace – they are willing to put themselves on the line for those they protect.sallans d at yahoo dot com

  2. I really like the hero to be strong yet sensitive and willing to show his feelings.Yvetteyratpatrol@aol.com

  3. I love a hero to be extremely alpha, yet loving and loyal to his mate, unafraid to show his feelings and trustworthy.mom1248(at)att(dot)net

  4. I like all these answers before mine… But, I would also like for my hero to know when to not be so over protecting.. yeah, it's hawt and it shows he cares… But, I think if he were to know when to let the one he loves be a badass and follow behind a few paces then that's good too 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway :)Ana♥

  5. I love the reformed bad boy hero, someone that will kick some butt if anyone messes with you. Thanks for the giveaway! mawmom@gmail.com

  6. Haven't read a Kristan Higgan's book yet but she's been on my list for a while now!I love a good tortured hero. The ones that most people have given up on but just need the right person to understand them and help them heal.

  7. I've always had a thing for bad boys. 🙂

  8. Hi, Di. Thank you for visiting and commenting. I have not read any Lori Foster books yet. I know – it's a vacancy I need to fill. I'm not sure how it's happened – I just haven't read them. Which do you recommend?

  9. Stronger than us, that's for sure. Women can be pretty darn strong! I don't want a weeper, though. I dated one of those one time and it was not … um … enticing. Thank you for visiting and commenting!

  10. Yes! Like a marshmallow – tough on the outside but soft on the inside. Not TOO soft, but, you know, soft. Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  11. I don't want a stalker tracking my every move (and I'm looking at you, Christian Grey). The man needs to trust me, right? RIGHT? I'm with you on this one, Ana! Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  12. The great thing about reformed bad boys is that they still have some badness in them, and that's kind of good, isn't it? You don't want them to be choir boys, because the bad boys are more fun.Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  13. First of all, I'm a high school English teacher, and "herding cats" is my LIFE. Kristan Higgins is so good. Her books are sweet and romantic, and the heroes are always men you really really want. Well, there was one who didn't interest me, but the rest of them have been yummy – and tortured!. Good luck! Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  14. Oh, my goodness, so have I. SO HAVE I. And yet I tell my female students to run and hide from bad boys, because they will break your heart. Yet they are so much fun. And, let's face it, part of what girls like to do is analyze everything about a man, and bad boys give you so much material.Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  15. swkimbell@yahoo.comI love Rhage from JR Ward BDB series!!!thanks for the contest!!!

  16. I love Edgard and Trevor from Lorelie James Rough Riders Series book 5: Rough, Raw, and Ready! Chassie is one LUCKY girl!!!Thanks for the contest.donnasing777@yahoo.com

  17. I am a lori foster fan. I have not read all of her books. But I would always recommend the men who walk the edge of honor and their women. They are wonderful stories.

  18. Thank you so much for the great contest! Conrad from Dark Needs at Night’s Edge is my favorite vampire because he fights back from losing his mind for love! **Sigh**jessharrison78@yahoo.com

  19. I am a big fan of the Alpha Male. It really doesn't matter if they are Vampire, Highlander, or Werewolf, I love a man who knows what he wants and goes after it. Don't get me wrong–I love a strong woman and love when they challenge the Alpha Male. I loved the BDB, Moreno Bros., and Fever Series.

  20. It's hard to pick a favorite just yet, but I do love the alpha male types. Strong, fiercely loyal and loving, strong, etc.Thank you for the giveaway.Pam

  21. My favorite is Ash from Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. He didn't have a good childhood yet he is still capable of feeling love not only for his family, Tory (his lady), but for humankind.jmesparza821(at)gmail(dot)com

  22. Another series I haven't read. I need to go pay my bookstore's rent and do some shopping!Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  23. Rough, Raw and Ready sounds like my kind of book! Where have I been that I've missed these?Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  24. Another one for Lori Foster. I am embarrassed to have not read anything of hers!Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  25. Twilight ruined me for vampire books, because it started a trend that grew really old, really fast for me. But I'm willing to give another one a try, especially one who fights back from losing his mind for love!Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  26. The strong woman accentuates and highlights the strong man, making him even more heroic and virile. Le sigh.Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  27. Vanilla, the heroes in Kristan Higgins' books tend to be alpha males who are tortured in some way. They all have some issues they need to get past, but so do the heroines. Some of them are more alpha than others – Nick in My One and Only is just TO DIE FOR, as is Malone in Catch of the Day. I do love the strong, loyal, loving man. Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  28. Oh, good grief another one. You people are (a) killing my bank account and (b) making me wonder why I haven't read these books! Pretty soon, my TBR pile will stretch all the way to the moon and back.Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  29. I love the boys of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by JR Ward. Some are a little dark and brooding, but they are fiercely loyal and protective of their mates.

  30. I think Mr. Darcy would be mine. He is just that dark, moody character with just the right amount of decorum to be romantic!

  31. Well, I am all about some dark, broody, loyal and protective heroes. All about them. Thank you for visiting and commenting.

  32. I agree, Ruth! I became a teacher just so I could read Pride and Prejudice and talk about it with new people. If I can get one kid to love that book as much as I do, my work here is done.Thank you for visiting and commenting.
